exception on failure. The source XLSX and supplement are bundled, attributed,
and checksummed in provenance.json. Dependencies reflect the executed environment.

The pulse comparison is retrospective, conditional and author-run. The SI example
is synthetic. Neither is independent replication or calibration to a specimen.
The primary PanTHERIA result from release 0.5.0 is unchanged.

Input SHA256 values are in provenance.json. The enclosing release's checksum
catalog covers the full bundle. Do not treat a locally prepared manifest as a
CODECHECK certificate, a DOI record or proof of peer review.
