Policy version 2026-10-18-v1 / Effective October 18, 2026

Contribution policy

Private review permission, contributor rights, publication consent and research review standards.

NetPhysics welcomes evidence, corrections, counterexamples, replications, models and questions. This policy applies to the email contribution form. Version 1.0, effective October 18, 2026.

Send work we can inspect

State the precise claim, method, source and relevant limitations. Identify whether the material is a proposal, synthetic demonstration, measured result or interpretation. Include the public dataset or code version where available. Separate your own result from the findings of cited authors.

Submit only material you are entitled to share. Do not upload or link to unauthorized copies of papers, proprietary datasets, confidential work, personal records or information restricted by an employer, funder, collaborator or other agreement.

Permission for private review

You retain ownership of your work. By submitting, you give NetPhysics a nonexclusive permission to receive, store and make copies of the submitted material as reasonably necessary for private research review and correspondence with you. This is not an assignment of copyright, a patent license or permission for public publication.

The permission covers the project operator and hosting or email services needed to receive and store the message. Material must be nonconfidential. The submission process does not create an NDA, an offer of payment or a commitment to use the work.

Publication requires a separate agreement

Submitting does not authorize public attribution or publication. Before publishing a contribution, NetPhysics should obtain separate written permission identifying the material, author or chosen credit, any applicable license, and the intended public use. Substantive editorial changes should be approved with the contributor.

If collaborators, institutions or funders hold rights, their permission may also be needed. Withdrawal of a private submission can be requested by email. Permission already granted for an independently published version may have separate terms; public copies and third-party citations cannot always be recalled.

Review and corrections

Receipt is not endorsement, scientific acceptance or peer review. Contributions may remain unreviewed, be declined or prompt a request for clarification. Evidence is assessed against the particular claim and relevant alternatives. A useful counterexample or failed replication can be as important as support.

A correction should identify the page, version, disputed statement and evidence. Substantive revisions to public research claims should record what changed and why. Private correspondence will not be displayed merely because it challenges the project.

Delivery, retention and contact

A success screen means the hosting server accepted the email for delivery. It does not prove inbox delivery or guarantee a response. Keep your own copy and contribution reference.
