Editorial method / Scope and provenance
This atlas separates established physical foundations, open research, research methods, and Hill’s hypotheses. A status applies to the specific mechanism or proposition described, not every possible extension of it.
How sources were selected
The curated collection uses primary papers, author-submitted preprints, technical references, and official scientific organizations. Citation titles, author information, dates and source locations were checked against retrievable records on 18 October 2026. Access sometimes covered an abstract, metadata, or official summary rather than the full paper. Each source record includes a scope note.
This is a curated starting collection, not an exhaustive systematic review or a claim to have found every relevant paper. Sources have different evidential roles. A theoretical construction, review, experimental result and conference or reference work cannot be counted as interchangeable confirmations.
What the pages do
Each research chapter offers an introduction, a mechanism and its limits, a mathematical relationship, a proposed test, and links to original sources. The research tests are design proposals. No new experiment, independent replication, or novel observation is reported in this release.
How the system learns
Submissions are received as unreviewed records. A reviewer must check relevance, provenance, reproducibility and alternative explanations before changing a claim’s status. Changes should preserve the prior statement, explain the reason, and name the evidence. This standalone edition accepts contributions by email for manual review. Future claim changes require an edited release. Catalogue searches open external scholarly services; they do not automatically alter the evidence map.
Promotion and rejection
A claim moves forward when its defined model survives a test that could realistically have ruled it out, especially when independently reproduced. A failure can reject a model, constrain its domain, or reveal an invalid measurement. The editorial record should say which outcome occurred. Popularity, visual similarity and the number of supporting links are not probability estimates.
Software and models
Calculators run locally with documented assumptions. The scale explorer uses synthetic procedural scenes and independent scale levels. All visuals are conceptual unless explicitly identified otherwise. Camera movement is separate from physical motion, and Alpha 1 remains uncalibrated. Formula validation and content/link checks are part of the release process.
Corrections
Use the contribution form with type “Correction.” Include the page, the exact claim, a primary source, and a proposed correction. A received submission is not automatically accepted or publicly posted.
