Research notebook / Edition 02
Where the work stands.
A dated record of the questions, the current limits, and the next evidence needed.
18 October 2026: the framework is documented; the atlas and tools are an initial research infrastructure. No new cosmological discovery or universal learning result is claimed.
01 / ProposeDefine the claim.State a mechanism, scope, and measurable consequence.
02 / CompareName the rival.Build a baseline and an informative way to fail.
03 / TestKeep the record.Preserve inputs, methods, uncertainty, and negative results.
04 / ReviseUpdate the model.Human-reviewed evidence changes a dated claim, not the history.
Three useful starting tracks
01
Geometry benchmark
Recover a known boundary–frequency relationship before proposing an additional effect. Record drive energy, material conditions, and uncertainty.
↗02Memory benchmark
Define a write/read cycle, compare against an untrained control, and test retention. Separate information storage from improved task performance.
↗03Scale comparison
Choose dimensionless observables and rival models. Validate on held-out data instead of selecting only visually similar examples.
